We worked with Shawn over a period of nearly three years to find the perfect home.  We considered this to be our “last move” so were not prepared to compromise on our must-haves which included a downtown location, on the subway, walkable to lots of interesting things.  In addition, we needed two separate work spaces and wanted to be in a well managed building with some amenities, including a gym and a pool.

We are fairly sophisticated about real estate, having bought and sold many properties over the years.  However, we could not have done this nearly as well without Shawn’s help.  His comprehensive knowledge of the Toronto condo market was absolutely key to the success of our search.  He knows every building, pro and con, and is very up to date about planned construction projects which can affect existing buildings.  He is very frank in discussing the merits of various properties and provides excellent advice.  He is also a charming and interesting person, which matters when you spend months, and even years, searching for the right home with an agent.

In the end, we found the ideal condo for us in a fantastic location and building, offering very good value.  We would unhesitatingly recommend Shawn to anyone venturing into the downtown Toronto market.
