We were looking for a home that was a little larger than our current home and one with a great yard for our growing family.  We were very happy with our existing home but as our family grows, we knew that we would need a little more extra space.  The challenge was hard because we wanted to find our “forever home” in our existing neighbourhood (which is quiet and close to two wonderful parks and the ravine), which had the extra room inside that we needed, was a character home, had enough parking and a garage for our many friends and family visitors, and a great yard for our little ones. The home also had to be open with a great layout.  Our search lasted more than 2 years –  we were not in a rush since we already had a great wonderful home.

We found our “forever home” and are excited to move next month.  We had to increase our budget slightly but were able to purchase a home that exceeded our needs and will likely be hard to replace in the future.

Working was Shawn was amazing – he is knowledgeable, responds in a timely manner, and patient.  He understood what we were looking for and kept us posted on all new listings throughout our search.  Moreover from those things, which is what we expect from any good agent, Shawn was truly understanding of our needs and was not pushy at all; this helped us focus on finding our new home and when we found our perfect home, he stayed with us late into the night to close the deal.
